Tension is a force that is exerted from the past towards the future, it is what supports the string theory in physics, and it is at the same time the force that becomes enriched in the present before any entropic event.

In this sculpture two synchronized quartz clocks are set one in front of the other and tied with a rope by the minute hand. It begins slowly to appear tension in the rope, what testifies with every second the real impossibility of synchronizing clocks, as the tension increases.
